The Ambassador Difference

est. 2007

Our mission

Ambassador Academy’s school mission is to prepare our students to be successful leaders of society through academic excellence and strong leadership character qualities. We develop a school culture where everyone believes in and is accountable for students’ ability to succeed, and where students learn to work in partnerships with others as they realize their goals. In this setting, students have opportunities to develop, apply, and demonstrate their knowledge in authentic meaningful activities, mediate differences within a context of social interactions, and take pride in their achievements along with parents, faculty, all staff, and community.

The low-down on charter

Charter schools are public, state-funded schools created through legislation in 1994, and contract with the state or a district to provide an education service. The "charter" establishing each school is a performance contract detailing the school's mission, program, goals, students served, methods of assessment, and ways to measure success. Charter schools cannot charge tuition for state-funded students and are created to provide additional academic choices for parents and students. They are established to provide a learning environment that will improve pupil achievement. Charter schools are accountable for both academic results and fiscal practices to several groups: the Arizona Department of Education, the parents who choose the school, and the public that funds the school.

Have you donated for 2017?

Did you know money you're going to pay towards your taxes this year can go directly to Ambassador Academy? We are a 501(c)(3) organization recognized by the IRS and are eligible to receive  your contributions!
A 501(c)(3) organization can recieve public tax credits which are dollar-for-dollar reductions in the actual tax owed by donors. For example, if you owe $300 in state income taxes and you donate $200 to Ambassador Academy for extracurricular activities or character development, you may subtract the $200 from your tax bill and pay the state just $100!

Who is eligible? I don't have any kids at Ambassador..

This tax credit is available to all Arizona individual taxpayers regardless of whether or not they have children or where they live. An individual can contribute and receive a tax credit for any amount up to $200, or a couple filing jointly can contribute up to $400. Best of all, this donation can be made over the course of the year and not necessarily in one large installment!

Okay, how do I donate?
